What the extension sends, and to whom
-
Ticker symbols, to Bargo. When you view a supported stock page, the extension reads the ticker
symbol from the page address or title and sends that symbol to the Bargo Congress Trades API
(www.bargo.ai) to retrieve public STOCK Act disclosures. Tickers on your watchlist are sent the same way
when the extension checks for new disclosures. Bargo receives the request from your IP address, as any
website you visit does. If you enter your own Bargo API key, it is sent with these requests.
-
Payment status, to ExtensionPay. The extension asks ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) whether
this installation has a paid subscription. If you upgrade, payment is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe on
their pages; the extension never sees your card details.
Nothing else leaves your browser. The extension has no server of its own and no analytics.
What stays on your device
- Your watchlist, recent lookup results, the daily lookup count, your panel preferences and, if you add one, your Bargo API key are stored in the browser's extension storage.
- ExtensionPay stores an anonymous installation key, which your browser may sync across your signed-in devices.
What the extension does not do
It does not read account balances, positions, orders or any other brokerage data, does not place trades, and
does not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
Not financial advice
The extension displays publicly available STOCK Act data for information only. It is not financial, investment
or trading advice. Data may be delayed or incomplete; verify with official sources.
